Three Fun Facts

I started in wedding planning.

While in college, I completed a wedding planning internship which introduced me to event planning and later the broader communications field.

I enjoy helping others in my career.

I've worked in both the non-profit and for-profit sectors, but most enjoy when I am able to use my skills to help others.

I'm a huge animal lover!

My first professional experience in the non-profit sector was at an animal rescue and I now have three fur babies of my own.

Assisted in several events. Planned a fundraising gala from start to finish including securing donations (venue, catering, auction items, sponsorships) along with designing theme, decor, and marketing collateral.

Volunteer project events

Managed a volunteer database and planned several projects and events surrounding organization needs & volunteer interests and availability. Coordinated several drive-thru, remote and delivery volunteer programs during the height of the COVID pandemic.

Marketing event coordination

Coordinated brand participation in third-party marketing events. Highlights include Iron Wolf's participation in Bastrop Music Festival, successful event partnerships with Blue Norther Hard Seltzer, Waterboy Hydration, and Austin City Limits Radio.

Non-profit experience

I have worked in a variety of roles in the non-profit sector including community outreach, volunteer coordination, event planning and more.

    • Planned and executed multiple small-scale fundraising events
    • Partnered with Capital Metro & Uber Eats to deliver meals to client families during COVID19
    • Grew & maintained volunteer database at Any Baby Can
    • Hosted virtual community outreach meetings & remote volunteer opportunities during quarantine at the start of COVID19 pandemic
    • Started a virtual volunteer tutoring program which helped a teen mom graduate
